About Liam
I’m Liam Brassil, an RSA-approved driving instructor working out of Caherdavin in Limerick.
I got into this because I genuinely enjoy teaching. There’s something brilliant about watching someone go from gripping the steering wheel for dear life to cruising through a roundabout like they’ve been doing it for years. That moment when it clicks – that’s the good stuff.
I’ve taught all sorts – teenagers doing their EDT, parents getting back behind the wheel after years off, people who failed their test three times and just needed a different approach. No two learners are the same, so no two lessons are the same either.
My Approach
I keep things relaxed. No drama, no raised voices, no making you feel stupid for stalling at a junction. Everyone stalls. Everyone makes mistakes. That’s how you learn.
I explain things properly – not just what to do, but why. Once you understand the logic behind it, the driving part comes naturally.
If you’re nervous, good. Most of my best students started out terrified. We’ll take it slow, build your confidence bit by bit, and before you know it you’ll wonder what you were worried about.

The Car
You’ll learn in a modern, dual-controlled car that’s easy to handle. It’s the same type of car you’ll likely drive after you pass, so the skills transfer straight over.
Where I cover
I’m based in Caherdavin but I cover all of Limerick city and the surrounding areas. I can pick you up from home, college, or work – wherever’s easiest for you.
Regular pick-up spots include TUS Moylish, University of Limerick, and the Regional Hospital.
